The sun didn’t rise ... and dark shadows are closing in!

The joyous revelry of the Solstice Masquerade has ended, and it’s time to put away the fantastical masks and greet the dawn. But this year, the sun didn’t rise ... and the night goes on and on.

Clues abound, but will the heroes solve the mystery of the sun stone? Can they restore the sun to the sky? Will the fae provide some answers to the mystery?

The Sun Stone Ado is a festive adventure of clue-following and creative problem-solving set against a backdrop of mischief and mayhem. The party must ensure dawn comes again after the year’s longest night.

5e: The adventure is designed for Tier 2 parties but can be adjusted for other degrees of difficulty.

C&C: The adventure is designed for 4–6 characters of levels 4–5 but can be adjusted for other degrees of difficulty.

OSR: The adventure is designed for 4–6 characters of 3rd to 4th level but can be adjusted for other degrees of difficulty. It is recommended that the characters have magic weapons, but these are not required — and alternate monsters are provided if this is the case. The adventure involves a lot of problem-solving and tracking down clues, so you should consider awarding experience points based on creative roleplaying solutions the players come up with.
